About

The number of flights to and from Brisbane International Airport have increased in recent years resulting in escalating visitor numbers. To meet this heightened demand, a $120 million expansion of the northern concourse was completed in February 2018.

Designed to enhance the passenger experience: six new boarding zones, four new aerobridges and two new walkout gates were created, providing more space for boarding and disembarking.
The additional space also increases the terminal’s capacity to accommodate new, larger aircraft including the Airbus A380.
